French for Something are an up-and-coming alternative rock band from Aberdeen. As a 5-piece band, their members draw on a diverse range of influences from folk to funk. Their resultant sound is an amalgamation of genres characterised by honest lyrics and driven guitars over a funky rhythm section. Their catchy debut single ‘What’s coming next’ was recorded for a spring release, just two months into their tenure. There’s no doubt that FFS will have an established catalogue of bodacious tracks before the year’s end.
